BEFORE READING ANY FURTHER:  This workshop is part of the 41st annual PMN Virtual Winter Convergence, from January 29-31.   PMN Members who are already registered for the Convergence may use the registration form on this page to sign up for the workshop with Si Kahn, which has a limit of 12 participants.

There will be two sections of the same workshop.  The section of this workshop taking place on Sunday is already full.  But there is still space for the section of this workshop that has been added to Saturday and you can register for that section here.  There will be a wait list taken on a first come basis.   We may also be able to offer this workshop again at another time.

Workshop Description:  This is a community event in which we’ll work together to deal with the issues we all confront as songwriters.  One at a time participants will ask questions and those who have suggestions will make them.  If Si thinks we’ve missed something important, he’ll pitch in.  Just so you know, this workshop about the art and craft of songwriting, not about issues like copyright or how you can get Beyoncé to record your song.  Limited to 12, first come first served.

Facilitator:  Si Kahn is in his 56th years as a civil rights, union and community organizer.  He says his songwriting is “A hobby that got out of hand.” https://sikahn.com/
